草加松原(Soka Matsubara / Pine field) / 草加(Soka)
Soka Matsubara is pine field whose distance is around 1.5 km. Both side of the street are covered by pine tree along Ayase river.
It is beautiful scenery located in just 15km north of capital Tokyo.
Soka Matsubara is belongs to 日光街道 which is five main street in Edo period. People living in North area of Tokyo use this street to go to capital Edo.
松尾芭蕉 (Matsuo Basho) who was most famous Japanese Haiku Poet describe Soka Matsubara. Bridges strides across the street is also impressive. Why don’t you walk along 1.5km of Soka Matsubara when you come to Japan?
