輪島塗 (Wajima)
It is a very beautiful lacquer tableware. In Japan, there are several place producing lacquer tableware. However, Wajima has its unique process and admitted by METI in Japan as its original traditional manufacturing method.
When you call, Wajima, people think it is luxury and very expensive good. Why it is expensive? Because manufacturing process is really complicated and only few people can create Wajima even in Japan.
Sometimes it uses golds.
Sometimes it is used as only a part. But in every Wajima produced by very sensitive and complicating manufacturing process by hand.
Therefore, it is used for decorations and arts rather than used in ordinal life.
