横浜中華街 （Yokohama China town) / 横浜 (Yokohama)
“聘珍樓 (Hei Chin Ro)” is one of the famous restaurant in China town. Yes, I went to Yokohama China town to eat Chinese food.
There are more than 500 Chinese restaurant in 200㎡ area. It is the biggest China town in Japan, and in East Asia. It has almost 150 years history.
Each street in China town has its own uniqueness. “市場通り (Ichiba Dori)” is very narrow street but has a lot of food material shops. You can purchase various meats, vegetables , and any other interesting food materials at “Ichiba Dori”
Christmas is coming. Therefore, decorations in Chinatown are Christmas. It is strange but it is also unique of China town in Japan.
It is great fun because you can enjoy real Chinese food in China town. Although there are lot of Chinese restaurant all over Japan, most of them are Japanese style we cannot meet real Chinese restaurant other than China town.
